to set up quasi-judicial bodies at the State and Central level
for redressal of consumer grievances. It is fortunate that the
Government has at last come to the rescue of the harassed

Consumer Rights Education and Awareness Trust (CREAT) is a
not for profit consumer advocacy group. CREAT was established
in December 1993 and was registered as a public charitable
trust in July 1994 at Bangalore. CREAT is administered by
a Board of Trustees assisted by a Committee consisting of
eminent persons.
